The Role of Faith-based and Interreligious Actors to protect Refugee and Migrant Children, International Talks (engl)
Protecting refugee and migrant children requires multistakeholder collaboration and working across borders in complex political contexts. The contribution of faith based, and inter-religious communities and organizations can be vital to supporting children whose lives have been affected by forcible displace-ment or migration. The talk will emphasize the “From Faith to Action” initiative, which focuses on children escaping conflict, persecution, natural disaster, or poverty, and brings together UNICEF and stakeholders from faith-based communities who share the aspiration of providing support and protection: physically, psychologically, and spiritually.
